Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of Two Radio Presenters
A devastating road accident on the Sagana-Makutano Highway in Kirinyaga County has claimed the lives of two radio presenters from Radio Thome. The accident involved a motorcycle and a Toyota Probox, tragically ending the lives of Stephen Waigwa, the motorcycle driver, and Caroline Kamunya, the pillion passenger.
According to the Mwea West Sub County Police Commander, the motorcycle was heading towards Makutano town when it turned right to join an interchange, colliding with the Probox. Both Waigwa and Kamunya were killed instantly.
Radio Thome, the station the presenters worked for, expressed their grief over the loss of their talented colleagues. The station was celebrating its fourth anniversary, and the two had left a celebratory gathering to attend church services.
